This Wednesday is our trip to the Walt Disney Museum in San Francisco. Students need to bring a bag lunch that does not need to be heated. Remember to bring a drink also. We will be eating outside the museum after our tour.
Weekly grade reports are being sent home today. They should be signed and returned tomorrow.
Here's what's happening in our studies this week:
Bible - Memory verse is Proverbs 3:1-12, with quiz on Friday. We are continuing our study of Proverbs.
Math - investigation 7, lessons 71 and 72, with test on Friday.
English - We are completing vocabulary unit 9 and will have the spelling test on Thursday and definitions test Friday. We are working on direct objects in grammar. We are beginning work on a research paper. Students are receiving a list of requirements and due dates today. I will send a copy home as well.
Reading - Questions for chapters 8-10 are due next Tuesday. The next independent book project is due Monday, March 5. The book must be a mystery; students received a list of suggested books today.
History - We are still working in chapter 9.
Science - There will be a test on ecosystems tomorrow. Then we will begin individual projects on different biomes.
