MY BACKGROUND

I was born in Argentina, 1980. After completed my elementary and junior high school in Taiwan, I went back to Argentina to learn the Spanish language and culture when I was fifteen. I studied in public high school there for a year. Due to the long traveling distance from Taiwan, my parents decided to send me to Canada. In order to shorten the time to study English, I went to a small town, Powell River, and my English was improved dramatically in a year. After that year, I transferred to a secondary school in Vancouver, where I adjusted to many new challenges. While facing the busy school workload and competition from the peers, I managed to achieve the graduation requirement on time. I decided to major in Computer Science since I was outstanding in math and science. After being accepted by many universities, I chose University of Ottawa, because it has the co-op program I wanted. During my 5 years of study, I also worked for a year at Heath Canada for web design, software testing and debugging. My work was greatly appreciated by my supervisors. I have been studying and working in the three different countries, Taiwan, Argentina, and Canada, developed great adaptability. Personally, I love artistic design and creative tasks, and I also designed this website for my own web portfolio.

1980年我出生於阿根廷，在台灣接受中文的國小及國中教育，國中畢業後我回到阿根廷，學習另一種語言文化，那時的我十五歲，開始接觸西班牙語，在阿根廷讀了一年的中學，因地緣距離關係，父母在慎重考慮後，決定轉往北美，接受多元化的學習環境，為著節省時間，選擇先前往加拿大西岸的鮑威爾，讓我的英文能力在短時間加速進步，一年後，轉進溫哥華的高級中學，適應了更多新的挑戰，面對著十二年級繁忙的課業及競爭，仍很完美順利的達到申請大學資格. 擅長理科的我，在大學選擇電腦資訊工程作為主修. 在多家大學入學通知中，我選擇了渥太華大學，此校有我想要的建教合作課程. 大學五年學習中，我也善用時間，在二、三年級時在 Health Canada從事了網頁設計及軟體測試及修改工作，也都得到主管賞識. 曾在台灣，阿根廷和加拿大受教育及工作，讓我培養高度的適應力. 我個人非常喜歡設計有美感及富創造性的事物，也製作了這個個人網頁收錄自己的作品.
