| I am happy to undertake photographic restorations for other family history
researchers. I do not claim to be an expert but do have the necessary means and
knowledge. I can do this free of charge but do request a donation to either the RNIB or your local charity for the blind. Restoration generally involves the removal of scratches, blemishes and other unwanted marks on a photo. I do not get involved in enhancement other than a little increase in the image's brightness if required. One person's idea of enhancement can be completely different to another person's. I shall be adding some examples of my restorations to this page in the near future. I can work with either a scanned image which you can email to me or, if you wish, you can post the photo to me. I can not, however, accept any responsibility anything going astray in the post. Either way, please contact me first by email before actually sending anything. |
