Petar Nastev Born on 21.03.1962 in Strumica, R.Macesonia Playing career: The beginning of his playing career was in Strumica in 1976 where he played until 1980, and then moved to Skopje where he played in 1(the first) Yugoslav league in the team of Rabotnichki and MZT Skopje for 12 years. He returned to Strumica in 1991 where he finished his playing career as a representative of R.Macedonia in the year 1999. Training Career: The beginning of his training career was in the team of Nemetali ograzden Stumica in 1992 where he worked with cadets generation 1980/81.This generation was a national champion of Macedonia three times : in 1994-1996 and 1995 won the second place. He worked with young categories until 1999, which is the year when he took over the senior team of Nemetali Ograzden . During that period he trained over 12 players who became members of different selections in Macedonia. The most renowned player was Vlatko Ilievski who plays for the Barcelona now from 1993 until 1997 he worked as an instructor of the camps organized by Basketball Federation of Macedonia and in 1997 he was appointed selector of the cadet’s national team of Macedonia. The same year he went to Barcelona, being the most prosperous trainer. Where the senior European championship took place at the same time as the assembly of cadet’s national team from the whole Europe for the generation 1984.The assembly was called Giambori Pasarela. In the year 2001 together with the junior national team, he won the first place in the pre-qualification tournament for the European championship 2002, this championship took place in Shopron, Hungary, where all the competitors in the group: Hungary, Czech republic and Russia were defeated He has been working with the senior team of KK Nemetali ograzden Strumica as a first trainer since 1999 when the team entered the first league, after spending a year in the second league. He joined the team together with seven other youngsters from his school that entered the team as players. He was a national champion of Macedonia together with these players Being a player, as well as a trainer, he is always for aggressive playing in the defense and offence. In the year 2002 he worked in Greece in the same time with the senior and the junior team of Demokritos /Abelokipi/Thessaloniki. He organized the academy work whit the all young categories and whit the junior team 84 generation play in the Final Four in that season. 2003 he start to work in Syria from September 5 like: first coach-junior team 86-88 generation, first coach in senior women s team and like assistant coach in a senior men’s team when the team took a part in the tournament in Dubai-UAE he lead the team like a first coach, he beat the national team of Tunisia and the team from Damascus- Jash-Army
