Hi there, I'm Keiko Kamata. I live in Melbourne, Australia. Don't worry if you can't pronounce my name - my friends call me Kakes.
Thanks for taking interest in me and my work. To tell you a bit about myself, I love 3D, dig the web, and enjoy print design.
I fell in love with 3D watching the opening sequence of Final Fantasy VIII. I found it truly amazing and I wanted to be able to make graphics like that. The software I like to use is Maya, and I'm planning to do a course in Screen and Media majoring in 3D Animation.
I made my first website when I was 12. I thought it'll be cool to be able to make one so I taught myself website languages off online tutorials. Years later I experienced working as a business analyst for online solutions, so I have a strong focus on user-centred design.
I think visual design is just as important as the content. Printed materials are no exception. I love print design that makes the content a pleasure to read.
If I'm not sitting in front of a computer, you might find me at a karaoke bar or a dance studio. My favourite song at karaoke? That's got to be Bring Me To Life by Evanescence.
