Welcome
      Milaor, a town located three kilometers south of Naga City (Heart of Bicol), is touted as the honor guard of Naga’s Southern doors. Boundless beauty of the rivers, creeks, greeneries constituting plenteous growths of bamboos, coconut, buri and other trees, vast ricelands and vegetations located in the area will greet you upon entering the town.

      Geographically, encompassed by the snaky Bicol River, Milaor is blessed with good fishing grounds which supplied them with abundant aquatic resources. Agriculture plays a dominant role in the economic life of the people. The whole area of the municipality covers a span of 2,341 hectares of which in the eastern portion is located the seven barangays endowed with favorable elevations and are considered as main producers of rice and other agricultural products. The thirteen remaining barangays, considered as fertile area are rich for fishing activities rather than for the production of agricultural crops specifically during wet season. Nevertheless, Milaor dynamically move onwards with the fast developing community centers and booming commercial and industrial infrastructures.

      Noticeably, Milaorians are deeply religious, resilients, hardworking, simple, courteous and definitely have the spirit of hospitality which is easily felt by anybody visiting the territory. A habitué in the place will never feel lost because of the friendliness and blissful attitude of the inhabitants.

      Indeed, this is a land of century old relics and picturesque sights which are preserved and renovated to provide subtle glimpses of the past. The concept of this study is to convey the attainment of a sustained improvement of social and economic status of the area and to capture the enchanting places and nourishing events.
