WHERE IS IT?

Nil Apart, is in the Çıralı district of the village of Ulupınar, in the city of Antalya-Kemer in Turkey.

Çıralı is located 70 km west of Antalya within Antalya's Kemer township district on the south of Beydağları-Olympos National Park and within the SIT area. Çıralı shares the same coast with the Olympos antique city. The beach is very wide and the length of the beach is 3.5 km. Most of the beach belongs to Çıralı district.

People who live in Çıralı, earn their living by running greenhouses and pensions. Lots of tourists visit Çıralı, that is located in between Olympos antique city and valley which is 600 m. south-west, and Yanartaş (Chimeria) which is 1 km north-west.

Burning Rock (Yanartaş) takes its name because there are some points where gas comes out of an extinguished volcano's sub-branches and burns when contacts with air or is lighted by a lighter. There are mythological stories told and written about this fire. It is even claimed that the first olympic games were held there and the olympic fire was lighted there.

What makes Çıralı special is the green of the nature and the serenity. It is an area covered with orange, lemon, tangerine, pomegranate, avacado gardens and greenhouses, and the houses are maximum 2 flats.

The Çıralı shore is one of the major nesting sites along Turkey's Mediterranean coastline for the sea turtle, caretta caretta; which is an internationally threatened species. For this reason, the beach and the natural life here is protected and educational activities are being held by DHKD (Doğal Hayatı Koruma Derneği) which is Turkey representative of WWF (World Wide Fund of Nature) and BirdLife International. You can get an interesting and thrilling experience while observing them.

Especially the Karaburun part of the beach that the NilApart guests will be enjoying is good for health cure since it is mixed with volcanical minerals

Ulupınar village is before the Çıralı joint, and on the main road, with its cool and natural spring water sources it is a nice place to visit and take a rest. It has so many trees that you can hardly see the sky. There you will find many fish restaurants by the river where you can have specially cooked delicous trout. You can cool off there after enjoying the hot beach.
