hmm...please let me take a few days to settle in and organize my thoughts, pictures, and memorabilia on our trip to California.
in the meantime...."don't sweat the small stuff" - can't stress this enough. we live in a world with constant change and sometimes it's hard to accept the fact that some things will never be like it was. griping about it doesn't do any good. in fact, it ruins the fun for those who want to see it through. so yeah...be the bigger person and roll with it. it'll eventually flow in its place.

and there he is....the beautiful justin timberlake. thanks to mike, i got this perfect view of his performance from both side and backstage. wasn't really into the stripped part of the concert, but kudos to her energetic voice.
Jaz visited, or should i say "came" to chicago so abs and i decided to take her out to navy pier. Dude....the guy who took the picture was nervous or something. we're all a blurr. sorry guys...it could've been a good picture. maybe next time i'll give the guy a tripod.

on friday, july 5...manong graduates at lincoln tech. i'm so so proud of him. he finally did it!!!!! this is the part when i start crying...
our cousin's from atlanta visit in time for my brother's graduation. this was taken at les' house after the whole big renovation.....as if nothing was touched. not bad for a little bit of procrastination!
mike & i on the odyssey in celebration of his five years at swedish. that day, i finally got the chance to meet the amazing people he works with. all the positive feedback doesn't surprise me at all....it's just the way he is and i get to see that everyday.
gina & irene were only here for a couple more days so we decided to do a pre-bday celebration at shenanigans.

my 10hr day was consumed into cashiering the impatient, early-bird shoppers. i would say women's shoes and kids wear girls were the most busiest. by 2 i was ready to go home, but because of bob middlemas' late arrival - i had to stay and make sure everything was in an orderly fashion. i actually passed him along the way to the office and was surprised that he still remembers me. awesome.
E&E's home is sooooo nice and gives that cozy feeling. i especially love their "sun-room" or whichever name they call it. the kitchen is just right. and X....dammit....he needs to control his bodily functions.
okay. it's waaaay past my bedtime. sweet dreams......
uncertianty seems to repeat itself in my life. i just gotta roll with it, take it a day at a time. now that all i do is work....i feel that something else is missing. so i'm seeking for that missing piece, but i dunno where to start.
anniversary is tomorrow. the goal: double digits.
because of this endless-like commute, i've developed a drop of road rage. this morning...as i was entering the toll...this woman on her cell phone decides to cut me off - literally inches away. usually i'm pretty calm about these types of situations, but for some reason this was different. i swirved onto the shoulder and quickly back onto the lane. and suddenly i was in rage. this woman obviously didn't care about the drivers around her. i was pissed...so i tailed her past beyond my exit. yeah...all of that wasn't worth it. grrr.... i dunno what got into me.

dad makes his visit to the hospital and ends up being admitted. i sat back and absorbed all the yelling...."i told you so" "stop being so stubborn", pointing fingers, etc. etc. nothing's ever normal with this family. for once i'd like to see all of us in unison, at peace especially in times like this. dad's in no condition for this ruckus. he's suffering enough as it is.

i know. i know. i've been out of the loop way too loooong. read on.....
i've been busy with work. although the drive is forever, i love where i'm ending up. the HR team is fabulous and i'm sitting here still thinking how unbelievable this is. it's only been a month and the exposure is phenomenal. i'm constantly learning, but the more i gain - the more i seem to forget. hehe. but really, my passion is to be of "resource" to others and i was fortunate enough to get this job. i guess it was just meant to be.
mike and i just celebrated our two year yesterday at oak street beachtro along the lake. wine and burgers - the best! it was goooood. i'm soo looking forward to yet another trip to cali in august. we're gonna see the pandas...finally! oh and i must not forget Mr. JT. sixth row baby!!! wooohooooo!
