I N T R O D U C T I O N Firstly, to those who don't know it, Digi-Trek Koushiro (also known as "DTK") is an online-based comic and fanfiction series that spoofs Digimon and Star Trek and crosses both shows over with one another. The fanfics feature characters from all Digimon seasons, with some Star Trek characters as well, such as Admiral Ross and Weyoun...and occasionally, characters from other shows or books. The major plot developments and storylines are present in the fics. The comics are mainly centered on small things that don't heavily alter the storyline. They're like filler episodes Stuff may happen, but things are usually brought back to their status quo...USUALLY. Also, due to the limitations and restrictions of altering existing screenshots, I can't really have the characters do specific things that often...unfortunately. So that's why I put the major stuff in the fanfic edition. I have more freedom with text. If only I could draw, then I could let my imagination run wild with all these possibilities for comics. H O W I T A L L S T A R T E D DTK started out as merely

really expected I'd have so What I originally intended to do was to have the Digimon cast and people of Crapboardia all be crewmembers on a refitted Excelsior-class starship known as the USS Koushiro. The ship's captain was, and always has been none other than Izzy Izumi from Digimon's second season. From there, the crew roster frequently changed and was extremely confusing. At one point, the ship's engineer was "Lt. Commander Matt Ishida," while at another point, it was "Engineer Ikkakuchan." I also had trouble choosing a first officer for Izzy, switching back from Commander Sora Takenouchi to Lt. Commander Iori Hida. Well, the thing never got off the
In August 2002, I got back into the DTK spirit, and that's when I began making fanfic episodes full-time...and comics...er, whenever I felt like it. But after "Puppet Play," was released, DTK finally got off the ground! I never really expected DTK to go this far, but the series has been going for over a year and shows no signs of stopping! Originally starting off with a small motley crew, over the course of its run, gained more and more characters, which now totals close to, or more than 20! IMO, it's been successful, and it's been fun writing the fics.

F I C S T O R Y L I N E In the year 2378...
Shortly after the Koushiro's launch, the crew first encountered what would later become the D-Reaper, the Puppets. The crew managed to repel the hijackers and regain control of the ship, but barely succeeded. Only until Ryo came in from the 29th century with advanced weaponry. Thinking that they had seen the last of the Puppets, the crew of the Koushiro set off on another mission. Little did they know that this was only the beginning...
In the year 2379... In late-2378, the crew of the Koushiro engaged Ken's ship in several skirmishes, successfully destroying the ship in "For Your Ears Only." In that same episode, Ken's Chief of Operations, Mitsuo Yamaki...or just Yamaki, was fired for incompetence, and defected to the Federation. Following Yamaki later on in the episode was Ken's Chief Scientist, Dr. Janyu Wong, and Ken's two Mainframe Controllers, Riley and Tally. The current situation that the crew is facing is an all-out war between Ken and his modified version of the D-Reaper and Federation forces. Stationed on Deep Space Nine under the command of Admiral William J. Ross (Star Trek: DS9) and Admiral Yolei Inoue (Digimon 02), the crew is the flagship of the armada stationed in the sector to fight Ken, who has set up his Central Command in the Chin'toka System. In "Call To Arms," and "Invasion of the Dominion Corps," the Dominion Vorta Weyoun and his right-hand man, Gul Dukat enter Federation space via a temporal rift and mistake Ken for one of the Founders, the gods of the Dominion. Because of this, Ken has powerful Dominion and Breen forces on his side. In "O Father, What Art Thou?" Ken recruited a new Chief Scientist, Lieutenant Koji's estranged twin brother, Koichi Kimura. In "Temporary Diversions," once again the Monster Makers have been reunited. Now hired by Starfleet to begin formulating a plan and weapon with which to combat the D-Reaper threat. In "O Father, What Art Thou?", a Federation task force led by Admiral Janeway attempted to retake the Chin'toka System from Ken, but was forced to retreat. At the same time, Captain Izzy aboard the USS Kickstarter, and Captain Henry Wok aboard the USS Koushiro, set out for the Briar Patch to destroy a newly-deployed Dominion installation, that turned out to be a ruse and that a Dominion armada was merely stationed there to attract the attention of Federation forces. And now, our story continues on from here... //Last updated 03. 31. 2003// T H E S T A R S H I P K O U S H I R O
Armed with 10 phaser arrays and 320 multi-phasic torpedoes (which basically means it can become a photon, quantum or transphasic at the push of a button), and a multipurpose navigational deflector. So far, the deflector has sent out a feedback surge which crippled Ken's ship as well as the Koushiro. It's also been used for the Yuggoth Blaster weapon...and I think for something else too. And last, but not least, the offensive/defensive DigivicerXP multi-seasonal Digivice computer interface adapter. Basically, it lets the Tamers use their modify cards to enhance the ship and the Frontier kids to store the fractal code they collect in the ship's computer database. By connecting their D-Tectors into the ship's navigational deflector, the data is relayed to the ship's computer system, which provides the ship with the ability to spirit evolve with the installation of the Evolver98 Digivolution controller card. Its defensive
systems include a high-capacity shield grid...which isn't all that great,
compared to the shields of other ships, and the new Devicer NT plot device
regulator, which allows them to choose different devices or other things
that basically get them out of a mess. // Last updated
